To be honest, I still can’t believe that this got more notes than this, and especially this.

I wanted to attempt making a graphic and this is what I ended up with. I know that I’m no professional and I’m not trying to impress anybody. I just wanted to try and see what I would come up with.
These are now my imaginary OC Hunger Games characters. Their names are Storm Layton (Emma Stone) and Lake Seaton (Logan Lerman) and they’re from District Four, way into the future when Katniss and Peeta are happily married and have children. I tried to make their names revolve around nature, weather, and mainly water, as District Four is where fishing mainly takes place. I chose District Four because I love water, and I think that being around fish all day wouldn’t be too bad; it’s basic nature, and District Four isn’t one of the poorest places to live. Also, because of the colour of Emma’s dress, her green eyes, and Logan’s blue eyes.
Um, it seems to me that most people from District Four are blonds or brunettes, with some variation of blue or green eyes (I’m assuming), but Storm’s an “exception” for having red hair in District Four just as Mrs. Everdeen and Prim were in District Twelve for having blond hair and blue eyes. I enjoy the rarities. And I guess that they’re from the future because I wouldn’t know where else to put them. And they’re wearing Mockingjay pins because they support the notion that the Games had been ended, and that they will never (or hopefully never) face that kind of tragedy. Hers is where her dress meets at the bust, between both “cups”, as if it’s a decorative pin holding the dress together; his is pinned to the pocket on the right side of his shirt, more noticeable than hers. If I were to put them in a different era (I put them in the future/present time of Katniss because I didn’t want them to be sore-thumbs), perhaps when Katniss was their age, then they may have been part of the rebellion and somehow got to District 13, or were Wanderers. I can’t imagine them wearing the Mockingjay pins as they live in a wealthy district as that would be a slap in the face to the Capitol, but I don’t know. The pin Madge had was made of gold and therefore very expensive. If they can’t afford these, then I guess they’re only here for decoration for my picture to show symbolism as who they side with. With The Games done, they might be fine. They should be. Right? But, like I said, I don’t know where they belong. I just created them. No back story really, yet.
I really doubt that I’m going to do any writing involving them; I just wanted to make a graphic and wanted to create my own characters because I don’t know what I can do that hasn’t been done with Peeta and Katniss. I know that if I do it 100% original for a Peeta/Katniss graphic that it would turn out okay, but my lack of skills and practice will make any of my shipping graphics look like dirt compared to what everyone else can make. But I guess that that’s what practicing is for.
By the way, if I wrote a fanfic or short story for them, the title would be “Blood Pact”, which is why it’s on there. I don’t know why they’re making a blood pact or if it’s even them who make it. That was just a title that stuck. The original title I had planned to use was “Through Fire and Water” because of the idiom/phrase “go through fire and water” which means “to experience many difficulties or dangers in order to achieve something”. Because District Four life seems to revolve around water, I wanted to use idioms and hints at it throughout the possible story. I don’t know what difficulties or dangers they’d need to experience to achieve something, and seeing as this is set after The Games have ended, they can’t be in The Games. However, no good story is without difficulties for the characters.
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the images, nor do I own Emma Stone, Logan Lerman, or The Hunger Games. I am in no way affiliated with anyone. I can’t even Photoshop. Just accept me. LOL. However, I do own Storm Layton and Lake Seaton, and I guess this story idea and its final image, as I created it, but I do not own the images I borrowed to make this graphic. Okay? Okay.
